About the Role:
Join SWALLOWING DIAGNOSTICS INC as a Shuttle Bus Driver 1-2 days per week, where you'll play a crucial role in providing safe and reliable transportation of our Medical Unit and Staff. Responsibilities:
- Transport staff to and from locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Assist medical staff retrieving patients at locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure a safe driving environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to facility staff, patients and their families.
- Communicate effectively with the scheduling team regarding any delays or issues.
- Assist medical staff with set-up and cleanup of workspaces.
- Keep the shuttle bus clean and well-maintained at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
- Proven experience as a shuttle bus driver or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Must pass a background check.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles is a plus.

diagnostic services performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies, FEES,Ultrasound studies and X-Ray in the South Florida area since 2000 .
SDI was founded by Debra Tarakofsky, an experienced board-certified speech pathologist with a master's degree from Nova Southeastern University in speech and hearing science. She brings expertise in working with the geriatric population since 1991 years in the South Florida area. Her training includes performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies in both hospitals and with mobile units, as well as independent coursework in dysphagia and modified barium swallowing procedures with the leading researchers in the field.
